March is National Reading Month, a time to celebrate the joys of reading and the incredible benefits it brings to students. At Alpha Academy, we are excited to highlight the importance of reading in shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning. Reading opens doors to new worlds, sparks creativity, and strengthens vocabulary, critical thinking, and comprehension skills. This month, we are encouraging all our students, teachers, and staff to embrace the power of books and make reading an integral part of their daily lives.
National Reading Month is a perfect opportunity to dive into various genres and explore diverse authors, stories, and topics. Whether it’s fiction, non-fiction, poetry, or history, books offer something for everyone. We are proud of our students who have consistently shown a passion for reading, and we aim to keep inspiring them to read more, not just for academic growth but also for personal enjoyment and development.
At Alpha Academy, we believe in the power of education, and reading is a key pillar in helping our students achieve academic success. Let’s make National Reading Month a celebration of curiosity, imagination, and learning! Happy Reading!

As we step into the new year, the Fayetteville Division of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps at Alpha Academy continues to grow both as a team and as individuals. Our cadets have shown remarkable dedication by reinforcing discipline, healthy habits, and teamwork among their peers. This winter, recruits successfully completed their training and advanced to the rank of Seaman Apprentice, demonstrating their hard work and perseverance.
